Second to last match-day of season and a very tight race on the top.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Saturday

1.Bundesliga

Nürnberg- Hamburg: under 2.5 @ 2.03

Not much to play for for both teams. Nürnberg struggled a bit lately, especially on the offensive side, but has secured an uefa-spot by reaching the cup-final. Hamburg cant be relegated since last week. Both teams struggling to score and I don’t see a reason to put any kind of effort in this game. Should be a boring low scoring game.

Dortmund- Schalke: Schalke -0.5 @ 2.09

Very big match here. Schalke is the leader in a very tight race. This is their biggest hurdle before the champ. They have a very good history playing at Dortmund where they haven’t lost in last 6 seasons. They are full of confidence and everybody is looking forward to get the long desired championship.
Only problem here is: it s Dortmund. Apart from the overall situation in the standings this is probably the biggest rivalry and derby in Germany. It s similar to celtic-rangers in scottland.
Dortmund has nothing to play for regarding the standings, but after a disappointing season pride is on the line big time. This match is already highly emotional and completely over-hyped by media thru the week.
But nevertheless I still go with the facts. Schalke is simply the better team here and with more will to win. Dortmund would love to bring them down but Schalke will have too much focus and skill for them. Dortmund also has problems at home this year coming mainly from pressure by their own fans. If Schalke can somehow take the lead the should have a fairly easy way to the win here.

Bochum- Stuttgart: Bochum +0.5 @ 1.89 and over 2.5 @ 1.89 !! 2 units!

Stuttgart just one point behind Schalke is made the favorite for the title in media. I am not quite sold on that. They won 6 in a row and played mostly fluently football, but they are a very young team who somehow got surprisingly in the situation playing for the championship.
They didn’t really have the pressure so far as everybody was talking about Bremen and Schalke. But now they are very much hyped and aware of the situation.
Bochum is no gimmie either. Winning 5 of last 6 games they are from a candidate for relegation suddenly in the hunt for an uefa-spot. They have put on a great streak of results during the run: winning at home vs. Schalke and beating Hamburg (3-0) and Leverkusen (4-1) in away games. Also Stuttgart won only once in last 7 games at Bochum.
Both teams will go for the win and the game should be highly entertaining, but I like the chances for Bochum to get at least a point as they can play with less pressure.

Mainz- Gladbach: Mainz –0.5,-1 @ 2.0

Mainz with a very small outside chance to stay in the league while Gladbach is already relegated. Gladbach is playing without any motivation and the club is more focused in off the pitch problems than on bringing the season to an decent end. They also have injury problems.
For Mainz it s simply the last chance. At least they want to go down with a win infront of their home fans.

Bielefeld- Hannover: Hannover pk @ 1.92 !! 2 units!!

Biggest play of the day.Bielefeld secured the league last week. Bif celebrations during the week and nothing to play for. Hannover slowly climbed back in the race for uefa-spot or at least UI-Cup spot with 4 wins in a row. The whole club is pretty excited about the situation and whole city and team want to go to Europe. They are a solid away team and should get a win in this great situation with Bielefeld should not be really focused on the match.

A split in Bundesliga on Saturday.

Today second to last day in 2.Bundesliga. A very tight race for promotion and relegation

Sunday

2. Bundesliga

Paderborn- Duisburg: Duisburg –0.5 @ 1.83

Duisburg is currently on a promotion spot, but is struggling a bit getting only 2 points from last 3 games. But here they are the better team and facing a Paderborn team which has nothing to play for. Many fans should travel with Duisburg which should take away the home advantage.

Karlsruhe- Freiburg: Freiburg pk @ 1.90

Karlsruhe has already clinched promotion, while Freiburg is in the middle of the promotion race currently even with the last remaining spot. For Karlsruhe it will be a big celebration in their last home game, they will not loose on purpose, but I don’t think they can match the will of Freiburg here. Freiburg was until last week s surprisingly home loss the hottest team in league. So I like them at pk

Koblenz- Aue: Koblenz –0.5,-1 @ 1.97 !! 2 units!!

Koblenz needs a win to remain in league. They are playing better recently and coming of a big win at top-team Rostock. They are solid at home and facing an Aue team which has nothing to play for. Aue will not come to play as they have shown in recent weeks where they also had no real motivation

Essen- Burghausen: Essen –1 @ 1.99 !! 2 units!!

Both teams are still playing against relegation but with different positions. Essen is on a very solid streak right now and is coming of a big 2-0 away win at top-team Fürth. They can secure league with a win and a loss by either Offenbach or Unterhaching or Jena. Burghausen has only an outside chance left, but they are not really playing well. This is Essen s biggest chance to make it as they play next week at Duisburg which will be a much tougher test.

1860 München- Rostock: Rostock pk,-0.5 @ 2.11

Another match between one of the top teams in Rostock and another who has nothing to play for. Rostock is struggling a bit lately, but need to get points here badly. München is not a bad team, but there should not be a lot of motivation on their side.

Köln- Offenbach: Köln pk,-0.5 @1.89 !! 2 units!!

Köln has nothing really to play for besides reputation. They have a terrible season and the team started to fade once the promotion race was out of side. But extra motivation came in last week with Daum extending his contract for next season and also players understood they have to show up for the club and their big fan base in last matches. It was shown in one of their best games of season with a 3-1 away win at top club Duisburg. More from the same today can be expected.
Offenbach need badly points against relegation, but they are in a big down-trend with only one win in last 10 games. It looks like they are going down and today s loss will hopefully the first step.
